Milk production in the United Kingdom (UK) 2001/02-2023/24

During 2023/24, just under 4.9 billion liters of milk were produced in the UK. This was enough to cover a bit more than the entire city and county of Cardiff in a ten-centimeter-deep sheet of milk.

The UK milk production had a production value of approximately almost six billion British pounds in 2023. In the same year, European production volume was estimated to amount to 152.6 million metric tons of milk. About 15.6 million liters of liquid milk were made from raw milk in 2022. The rest of the raw milk produced that year was turned into other milk products.
